Italian Knowledge and Stakeholder Hub
The Italian Hub, known as National Observatory on the Internationalisation of Italian Schools and Pupil Mobility, was launched in 2009 by Fondazione Intercultura in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the National Association of School Managers and Senior School Professionals to address a critical shortage of up-to-date data on school-based international activities.
To stimulate international openness, the Observatory documents internationalisation processes, tracks student and teacher mobility, and investigates key aspects of intercultural education. It achieves these aims through empirical surveys conducted by the IPSOS research institute alongside a robust suite of resources, including training courses for school leaders and teachers, self-evaluation tools, informative newsletters, scientific research, and relevant legal references.
